Systemite, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based software developer for the automotive industry, announced that it entered into an investment agreement with the Swedish family investment company JCE Investments.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made for controlling 70% of the equity in Systemite AB. The founders will remain as minority owners and will continue to be active in the company.

Systemite AB, founded in 2000 by Claes Anderson and lead by CEO Åsa Pahne, developed a high performance open platform named SystemWeaver used for component-based systems development within the area of computer based systems. The platform enables engineering organizations to integrate their design processes using one enterprise-wide data repository that assembles design information of each component such as internal structure, interfaces, variants, versions, requirements, status, etc. The platform contributes to higher product quality and possibilities to rationalize the design process, as well as improved information maintenance and better project management.
