The Nordic Web Ventures is a new angel fund from Denmark looking to pre-seed Scandinavian startups.

The Nordic Web Ventures is a Copenhagen, Denmark-based newly-founded investment firm looking to fund startups from Scandinavia. The company is backed by 50+ community builders, entrepreneurs and investors passionate about supporting early-stage Nordic startups.

The value of the available funds is undisclosed, while the aim is the funding of 10-15 industry agnostic startups with $20-50k investment tickets. The company will seek to raise a bigger fund after a year.

The Nordic Web Ventures, which is managed by Neil Murray, was started as a spinoff from the The Nordic Web blog, which Murray co-founded in 2014. The company already announced an investment in KiteX, an energy startup.
