The Pure Goat Company in a €1.3M funding round backed by FLEM global trading, Leche Investments and Finest Investments

The Pure Goat Company, an Amsterdam, Netherlands-based producer of organic goat-milk-based baby formula products, announced completing a €1.3 million ($1.8M) seed funding round.

The money was raised from Dutch investors including FLEM global trading, Leche Investments and Finest Investments.

Proceeds will be used to expand its operation in Germany, the United Kingdom, Belgium, and France. The company also aims to export its products to Asian and Middle-East markets, aided by FLEM’s expertise and network.

The Pure Goat Company, founded in 2018 by CEO Frank Dekker, is developing a a new organic goat milk-based range of products, as an alternative to cow’s milk-based baby formula. The organically certified formulas of the company are made with full cream goat milk from The Netherlands and include crucial nutrients including GOS fibres and Omega-3 DHA from Algae. The company sells via supermarkets, having dals with Dutch retailers Albert Heijn, Picnic, Etos, and other online supermarkets.
