Tjommi secures $670k in funding from Vækstfonden and angel investors from Denmark.
Tjommi, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based Norwegian startup operating a mobile application for consumer cashback, announced completing a funding round of roughly DKK 4M ($670k).
The money was raised from investors including angels Tinius Trust, Lars Jepsen and Mathias Mønsted, and complemented by the Danish state-owned investment company Vækstfonden. The deal values the company at $3M.
Tjommi, founded in 2018 in Bergen, Norwat and led by CEO Henrik Johannessen, built a price aggregator allowing users claim promotions and other special deals post purchase against the recepit and a 20% commision.
Tjommi moved to Copenhagen in 2020 to scale the service and previously raised funding from Strawberry Group, controlled by Norwegian entrepreneur Petter A. Stordalen. Stordalen is also chairman of the board.
