traceless, a Hamburg, Germany-based manufacturing startup recycling agriculture residuals into plastic alternatives, announced the completion of a capital funding round.

The money was raised from a range of German investors, including Planet A Ventures, the High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) and the Dortmund biotech investor b.value.

traceless, founded in 2020 by Anne Lamp and Johanna Baare, develops compostable packaging out of agricultural residues, aiming to offer a sustainable alternative material to conventional (bio)plastics.

The company developed tech for manufacturing a novel advanced material whose properties are comparable to those of conventional (bio)plastics while being completely bio circular. The material is based on food production residues, home compostable, not harmful in any way and competitively priced.
