Unseenlabs announced raising €20 million in a Series B round led by Avolta Partners.

Unseenlabs, a Rennes, France-based SAAS developer of a maritime satellite surveillance system, announced the completion of a €20 million ($24.2M) a Series B round.

The money was raised from investors led by Avolta Partners, joined by 360 Capital Partners, Omnes Capital, Blue Oceans Partners and existing shareholders Definvest and Breizh-up.

Unseenlabs, founded in 2015 by Clement Galic and Jonathan Galic, built a spectrum surveillance payload which is designed to detect and track non-cooperative vessels wherever they happen to be in the world. The company has 3 orbiting satellites collecting data and tracking all maritime traffic, particularly ships that have switched off their identification system.

Unseenlabs previously raised €7.5M from Definvest, Breizh Up and Nexeya in 2018.
