VesselMan secured $1.1M from Grieg, Møkster Investment, and Skagerak Maturo.

VesselMan, an Oslo, Norway-based software developer for the shipping industry, announced the completion of a NOK 10M ($1.1M) capital investment round.

The fundng was provided by Norwegian investors, including Thomas W. Grieg, Møkster Investering and Skagerak Maturo, and supported by state-owned agency Innovation Norway.

VesselMan, founded in 2015 by Stig Linna and CEO Glenn Edvardsen, built a cloud-based management tool designed specifically for ship maintenance and technical projects. The company has 8 employees based in Oslo and Singapore and works with customers including Wilhelmsen Ship Management, Transpetrol TP, Höegh LNG, PGS, Møkster Investment, Thomas W. Grieg and Skagerak Maturo.
