Visavi to receive $1.8M of investment funds from Proventure and SINTEF Venture V.

Visavi Technology, a Halden, Norway-based company providing software solutions related to optimization of maintenance and turnaround processes, primarily for the energy and process industry, announced in a press release securing NOK 15M ($1.8M) in capital investment.

The funding was supported by Proventure and SINTEF Venture V and is part of company's grwoth strategy.

Visavi Technology, founded in 2014 as a spin-off company from the Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) and NTNU Research Centre of Integrated Operations and led by CEO Jon Stærkebye, develops and delivers software solutions for optimization of the operation and maintenance of offshore platforms and onshore based process facilities.

The company developed and sells LivePlan, a product that provides real-time visualization of work task schedules to help industry organisations execute their planned operations safely and efficiently. The core of LivePlan is a visual timeline featuring work tasks and their related constraints such as task interdependencies, physical location, infrastructure, resources and safety barriers.
