wajve to close a €5 million seed round led by EQT Ventures and with participation of 468 Capital
wajve, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building a mobile app providing financial services and advice for young people, announced completing a series funding round of €5 million ($6M).
The money was raised from investors ld by the Sweden-based VC EQT Ventures, and joined by Germany's 468 Capital and OMR. The round complements an initial fundraise effort closed in May 2021 and backed by Finleap, Lucas von Cranach (CEO of OneFootball), Roland Grenke (co-founder of Dubsmash and Acapela Group) and Christian Gaiser (CEO of COSI).
wajve, founded in 2021 by CEO Bastian Krautwald and David Meyer, is working for the development of a financial platform for Generation Z that bundles banking, advice and education in one app. The product is yet to be launched in the market.
