Waste IQ secured NOK 30 million from Norselab.

Waste IQ, a Bergen, Norway-based developer of a waste technology tracking platform, announced that it completed a funding round totalling NOK 30M ($3.5M).

The money was raised from the local investor from Norway Norselab, and will be used to expand business throughout Norway.

Waste IQ, founded in 2017 by CEO Tote Totland, developed a SaaS platform enabling behavioural incentives, green business models and logistical collaboration across circular value chains. The system integrates seamlessly with different smartwaste solutions such as sensors, access controlled inlets, weights and scanners.

The data is enriched and stored in a standardized format, and can be connected to any other system - including CRM, ERP og logistical planning software.

Waste IQ is also designed to support PAYT (pay as you throw) business models and personalized mobile solutions.
