WE Sport AB adds Karl-Johan Persson as investor in the company.

WE Sport AB, a Stockholm, Sweden-based boutique sports management agency, announced entering into an agreement for adding Karl-Johan Persson as investor in the company.

Financial details of th deal were not disclosed. Karl-Johan Persson is one of the most active angel investors in Sweden, also known as former CEO of H&M, founded by his grandfather in 1947. Prior of that, in 2001, Persson purchased an events management business which was active and operating across Scandinavia. The business was sold to MCI in 2007.

WE Sport AB, founded in 2018 by CEO Nina Wennerström, represents clients from the tennis, hockey and football world, including profiles such as Kiki Bertens, Pedro Martinez, Holger Rune, Carey Price and Ryan Getzlaf. The company is profitable and had sales of approximately SEK 26 million ($2.8M) in 2019.
