Weecos completed a $333k capital investment round via Invesdor.
Weecos, a Nokia, Finland-based company operating a fashion marketplace, secured EUR 291665 ($333k) in capital investment. The money was raised from 526 investors via a crwodfunding equity campaign on Invesdor.
Weecos, launched in 2013 by CEO Hanna Lusila and Anna Kurkela, built a marketplace focusing just on sustainable design and independent brands. The company works with 260 independent brands from the entire Nordic area. Each brand maintains their own Weecos-shop and the customer can buy several products from various brands at the same time. After placing the order, the payment is automatically divided between the different brands and the brands send the orders to the customers from their storages themselves.
Weecos estimates to make EUR 710k in revenues for 2019.
