WeGift raised $8 million in a capital round led by AlbionVC

WeGift, a London, UK-based SAAS developer of a B2B digital rewards platform, announced that it completed a $8 million capital investment round, in what the company calls a Series A extension.

The money was raised from investors led by AlbionVC and including Stride.vc, SAP.iO and Unilever Ventures.

Ed Lascelles, general partner at AlbionVC, will join the WeGift  board, led by Stride VC's Fred Destin.

The money will be used for expanding the business as well as augment its supply chain through direct integrations with brands, and product development “that serves corporate marketing teams looking to acquire, activate and retain customers at scale”.

WeGift, founded in 2015 by Aron Alexander, developed a SAAS solution helping companies manage in one place the promotional campaigns. The tool is available as  a cloud-based, open API platform that allows businesses to automate sending digital incentives and providing competitive intelligence about the performance throughout their course.

WeGift previously raised about $8 million, with the last round announced in mid 2019.
