Werksta announced the acquisition of Bilskaden Hadeland AS from Norway.
Werksta, a Stockholm, Sweden-based car collision repair chain, announced the acquisition of Bilskaden Hadeland AS, which operates as a damage repair workshop in Jaren in Oppland.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Bilskaden was previously jointly owned by the largest insurance companies in Norway and was then used as a training and skills facility, until 2014 when five local contractors took over the business. The company has 22 employees and sales in 2018 were approximately NOK 34.5 million ($4M).
Werksta Group was established in Sweden in 2015 and is now the leading damage repair chain in the Nordics.
