Wolt raises €7.5m more, adds Lukasz Gadowski as an investor in the company.

Wolt, a Helsinki, Finland-based food delivery company, announced getting into an investment deal and adding Lukasz Gadowski as shareholder in the company.

The deal involves an equity investment €7.5 million. ($8.8M)

Lukasz Gadowski is a Polish-Gemran entrepreneur and one of the co founders of Delivery Hero.

Wolt, founded in 2014, delivers food in 22 countries and offers food from more than 10000 restaurants. In order to support operations, the company built its tech platform for optimising logistics in real-time, allowing Wolt to deliver food more efficiently.

Wolt raised almost $300 million in venture money.
