AddNode snaps up InPort, a local software developer used by 90% of the Swedish port companies.

Addnode Group, a Stockholm, Sweden-based group providing software services, announced the acquisition of the Swedish software developer InPORT (Intelligent PORT Systems AB).

The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, while the owners Almi Invest, Anders Edström and CEO Tord Svanqvist, make their complete exit from InPORT, which they bought in 2014 from Helsingborgs Hamn.

InPORT, based in Karlstad and led by CEO Tord Svanqvist, develops logistics solutions for ports, terminals and shipping companies. The company is the Nordic region's leading supplier in its market segment as it is used by more than 90% of the Swedish port companies. InPORT had net sales of approximately SEK 25M ($3M) in 2016.

Addnode Group is one of Europe’s leading suppliers of software and services for design, construction and product data information, and a leading supplier of document and case management systems to public administration clients in Sweden and Norway.

Since 2003, the company has acquired 40 companies, as it has as a growth strategy acquiring, operating and developing entrepreneur-driven companies that supply software and services to markets in which we have or can achieve a leading position.

AddNode is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm and had SEK 2,2bn (approx. $300M) in sales in 2016.
