Adesante raises $550k from Leena Niemistö and Superhero Capital.

Adesante, a Turku, Finland-based health tech company providing visual intelligence for surgery planning, announced the completion of EUR 485k ($550k) in capital investment.

The money was provided by a range of Finnish investors, including Leena Niemistö and Superhero Capital, and will be used to expand the reach of its product internationally.

Adesante, founded in 2017 and led by CEO Petteri Joenpolvi, developed SurgeryVision, a reality software solution which helps surgeons to see inside their patients in three dimensions and thusly used for planning surgical procedures. SurgeryVision makes a step change from 2D to 3D as it creates stereoscopic view into patients’ anatomy for more precise planning of surgical procedures.
