Agrando announced raising €12M led by Yabeo Impact.

Agrando, a Munich, Germany-based SAAS developer for the agricultural sector, announced the completion of a €12M ($14.3M) capital investment round.

The money was raised from investors led by Yabeo Impact, and joined by The Sony Innovation Fund, Investbridge, and existing shareholders the June Fund tech fund and the London family office JLR Star.

Agrando, founded in 2017 by Christian Schultz, Jonas Hueber, Jonathan Bernwieser, Moritz von Oertzen and Roger Schwarz, developed an agricultural trading platform connecting stakeholders (i.e.  farmers, retailers, and producers of all sizes) involved in the agricultural trade, helping them make future-oriented decisions through technically optimized trading processes, data-driven analysis, and industry-specific advice. The company says it is used by about 2000 farmers from Germany.

AGrando previously raised funding in 2020.
