Aidee Health, a Lillestrøm, Norway-based startup building a business based on a health wearable device, raised a new funding round totalling NOK 11 million ($1.1M).

The money was raised from investors from Norway, including angel investor Tore Engebretsen.

Aidee Health is a spinoff from local software company Datek and is led by CEO Espen Westgaard, based on technology from Sintef Digital. The company developed a wearable and medically accurate blood pressure monitor for continuous measurements. The solution is now in the 3rd generation and is currently being tested in Norway at Ullevål University Hospital and Sandefjord Health Park, before the process of regulatory approval starts at the end of the year. The development project has a strong clinical foundation and has been developed in close collaboration with GPs and patients.

Aidee previously raised $1 million in 2021.
