Airtame to secure funding of $6 million in a round backed by Vækstfonden and Danske Bank.

Airtame, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company manufacturing and selling wireless HDMI devices, announced the completionn of a $6 million ncapital funding round.

The money was raised from local investors from Denmark, including Vækstfonden and Danske Bank. In conjunction with the funding, the company also announced that two former Siteimprove executives have joined the team, Martin Wagner as Chief Financial Officer and Sigurdur Orri Gudmundsson as Chief Commercial Officer.

Airtame, founded in 2013 by Attila Sukosd, Brian Kyed, Jonas Gyalokay (CEO), Marius Klausen, Peter Ørntoft, a small wireless HDMI device that plugs into the HDMI port of any screen or projector.

The solution is used for wireless presentations from any device, digital signage for all screens, and all-in-one cloud management.

Based on the hardware, the company developed a hardware-enabled SaaS platform, with use cases including classrooms and offices staying connected with those inside and outside the room, allowing wireless presentations on any device and digital signage on any screen. IT managers can run everything remotely.
