Aivero raised NOK 16 million from Planet 9 Venture, Valinor, Vyrd and Stratel

Aivero, a Stavanger, Norway and Aalborg, Denmark-based robotics company, completed a NOK 16 million ($1.8M) in capital funding.

The money was raised locally from Norway from investors including Planet 9 Venture, Valinor, Vyrd and Stratel, as well as angel investors Haakon Bryhni.

Aivero, founded in 2016 by Christian Rokseth and led by CEO Martin Svangtun, has developed a high performance, world leading 3d depth compression and streaming software that gives customers the power to recreate the real world in the cloud in real time by using off the shelf, low cost depth and 3d cameras.

 Aivero previously raised funding from investors including Momentum Partners, StartupLab Founders and Trond Riiber Knudsen, through his company TRK Group in 2019, and in 2018, raised another seed investment round from Sprettert and Trolltunga Robotics AS.
