Alias Robotics closes a €750k pre-seed round from Baron Capital.
Alias Robotics, a Vitoria (Bilbao), Spain-based robotics company, announced the completion of a pre-seed investment round totalling €750k ($850k).
The money was provided by venture and angel investors from Spain including Baron Capital and Asider-. The funding will support the development and final improvement of the product, as well as the deployment of its activity in international markets, with the reinforcement of its marketing and sales department, with qualified personnel in both areas.
Alias Robotics, founded in 2017 and led by CEO David Mayoral Vilches, is a cybersecurity firm focused on robots that creates the Robot Immune System (RIS), an artificial immune system for robots. The company provides assessment to build, program and deploy robots while caring about safety, security and privacy and has multiple applications in sectors such as aeronautics, automotive, industrial, or even health and consumer robotics. Alias Robotics is offering and consolidating its security consulting services for companies that use robots for their automation processes, as well as robotics manufacturers.
