Atlantic Money raised a $4.5 million seed round led by Amplo and Ribbit Capital.
Atlantic Money, a London, UK-based software startup building a foreign currency exchange transfer, announced completing a seed funding round closed at $4.5 million.
The money was raised from investors co-led by by Amplo and Ribbit Capital, joined by Vlad Tenev and Baiju Bhatt (Robinhood’s founders) and Webull’s Anquan Wang.
Atlantic Money, founded in 2021 by Neeraj Baid and Patrick Kavanagh, operate a digital service providing access to money trasfer services between different countries. The company says it focuses on local bank transfers allowing money transfers from the U.K. in GBP into nine currencies — USD, EUR, AUD, CAD, SEK, NOK, DKK, PLN and CZK.
