Avi Medical, a Munich, Germany-based startup developing software solutions for the healthcare industry, announced the completion of a €28.5 million ($34.7M) funding round.

The money was raised from a range of investors led by the Berlin-based digital healthcare fund Heal Capital and New York-based investment firm Addition. They were joined by multiple other investors, including Picus Capital, Vorwerk Ventures, Idinvest Partners, 3VC, Claret Capital Partners, Inventure, Cavalry Ventures as well as angel investors Zach Weinberg, Nat Turner, Daniel Dines, Benjamin Guenther, Raoul Heraeus, Anselm Bauer, Max-Josef Meier, Prof. Dr. Reinhard Meier, Florian Seubert, Simon Bolz, Dr. Matthias Mittermeier and Alexander Lorenz.

Avi Medical was founded in 2020 by Vlad Lata, Christoph Baumeister and Julian Kley in order to develop a digital application that facilitates the exchange between patients and practices, makes it more transparent and automates administrative work.

The company previously raised funding in 2020.
