Awell Health announced the completion of a £1.9 million capital raise backed by London-based investors LocalGlobe and Moonfire.
Awell Health, a Bruxelles, Belgium-based SAAS developer for the healthcare professionals, announced getting into an investment agreement for raising £1.9 million ($2.4M) in capital investment.
The money was raised from UK-based early stage VCs, including LocalGlobe, which led the round, and Moonfire Ventures. Proceeds will be used for development of a new tool to help clinicians create and implement complex guidelines and clinical protocols more efficiently than by using text-based PDFs, ultimately helping to speed up the path between clinical evidence and patient care.
Awell Health, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Thomas Vande Casteele, built a software solution used by healthcare professionals for a better collaboration process. The software provides specifically features such as digital care pathways, patient-reported outcomes, Value-Based Healthcare as well as remote patient monitoring.
