Axel Arigato secures $7.5M in a round from UK-based venture firm Vaultier7.

Axel Arigato, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based online retailer secured $7.5M in an investment round.

The money comes from British venture capital firm Vaultier7 and will be used to consolidate the brand’s multichannel approach, strengthening online and wholesale, scaling internationally and building on the success of its London flagship in Soho.

Axel Arigato, founded in 2013 by Albin Johansson (CEO) and Max Svärdh, created a fashion retail brand which they use for managing an online ecommerce operations. The company made SEK 40M ($4.3M) in sales for 2016 and expects a turnover of $9M for 2017.
