Barneby completes its second American acquisition at the end of 2017 - Collectors Weekly.

Barnebys, a Stockholm, Sweden-based meta engine for art sales, acquired Collectors Weekly, a US-based media aggregator that cures content in design and collectibles. The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, and its aim is strengthening the editorial side of the business.

The announcement comes shortly after Barnebys acquired Simple Auction Site, another American operation that develops white label online auction software solutions.

Barnebys, founded in 2011 by by Christopher Barnekow (CEO) and Pontus Silfverstolpe, developed an online service that makes it easy to search for art, antiques and collectibles.
