Barona acquired 30 % of the shares in Mploy AS

Barona, a Helsinki, Finland-based group of companies, providing private employment and BPO services, announced that it purchased a strategic stake in the Drammen, Norway-based recruiting company Mploy AS.

The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made through Barona Norway, daughter company of Finland’s largest human resource services group, for 30 % of the shares in Mploy AS.

The majority of the owners in Mploy will continue in their operative roles after the transaction.

Mploy, founded in 2013 and led by CEO Kristian Nebell, is a local recruiting company with a strong brand among electricians, as it provides temporary staffing solutions to their clients.

Barona Norway, led by CEO Olav E Olsen, is part of the Finnish group of companies Barona, the largest human resource services group in Finland with annual revenues of 400 million euros and operations in 10 countries.
