Battery Intelligence added investment from Grid.vc

Battery Intelligence, a Tampere, Finland-based company manufacturing IOT monitoring services for industrial batteries, announced that it secured EUR 100K ($112k) in capital investment.

Funding was provided by Finnish investment company Grid.vc.

Battery Intelligence Oy, founded in 2018 and led by CEO Raimo Vuopionperä, has developed a cloud based ”Battery Intelligence as a Service” solution to monitor and manage Industrial Batteries.

It is an IOT solution with integrated “Big Data” analytics in the cloud that provides the battery intelligence to customers in the utility sector, for example logistics operator using electric forklift trucks.

The system provides info about the condition of the battery in industrial trucks or machines using other batteries, and when to service or replace the battery at the right time and is used by customers from Finland, Holland and Russia.
