BCB Medical acquires Swedish company Health Solutions

BCB Medical, a Turku, Finland-based startup that developed a SAAS solution that it's gathering and analysing clinical data, announced the acquisition of the Swedish partner Health Solutions – experts in clinical real-world data now seek strong international growth together from Northern Europe

Financial details were not disclosed.

After the transaction, founder Joakim Söderberg and the employees will be shareholders in BCB Medical Holding.

Health Solutions, founded in 2000 by CEO Joakim Söderberg, has been a pioneer in developing decision support systems to monitor patient outcomes with a focus on infectious diseases in the Nordic region and the UK. The company’s decision support systems are in use in all Nordic countries and in the UK. The global hemophilia registry, based on Health Solutions technology, is used in 42 countries worldwide. The company’s client list includes the majority of the largest pharmaceutical companies.
