Beleco raised a new funding round.

Beleco, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a marketplace for rental of furniture, announced closing a new funding round.

The financial details were not disclosed. The company announced adding Anette Tånneryd as new Chairman of the Board, and new members Christian Resell, CEO of Maze Interior, Ping Pong AB's CEO Sofia Högman, and Hans Börjesson, co-founder of Starbright Invest and Lithium.

Beleco, founded in 2016 by Marie Rudenstam (CEO), Sebastian Rudenstam and Pontus Gustafsson, built a digital marketplace where furniture manufacturers rent new and used design furniture, mainly to companies but also to private individuals. The company works with 100 furniture manufacturers including Layered, Vitra, Hay, Flokk, Fogia, Hem and Flos

Beleco previously raised a $2M investment round from Almi Invest and private investors in 2019.
