bld raised SEK 12 million in a pre-seed investment round backed by angel investors in Sweden.

bld, a Stockholm, Sweden-based software startup building a new social network, announced that it completed a pre-seed investment round closed at SEK 12 million ($1.2 million).

The money was raised locally from Sweden, from multiple angel investors and family offices, including Hélène Barnekow, Fredrik Hjelm, Viktor Frisk, Moha Bensofia and the family offices Åhman (Rickard Åhman) and Sahlén.

bld, founded in 2021 by CEO Claes Mårtén, is working on the development of a new social media platform expected to be launched by the end of 2022.
