BlueKey raised angel investment from Danish backers.

BlueKey, an Odense, Denmark-based software developer of a competitive analytics solutions for the shipping industry, announced completing a capital funding round.

The money was raised from local angel investors from Denmark, including Thomas Visti (who will control an ownership interest of 5%), the former head of dry cargo at the Norwegian shipping company Thorvald Klaveness, Jan Klingsholm, and Peter Istrup, who is a trained lawyer and researcher in blockchain.

Jan Klingsholm will also join as Chairman of the Board of BlueKey.

BlueKey, founded in 2020 by CEO Henrik Drud and Steffen Johnstad-Møller, developed a SAAS that aims to deliver, structure and automate the world's shipping data, reliably and easily. The platform gathers valuable data in one place so that shipping companies and charterers in the dry cargo industry can hit the competitive price, quality and speed of deliveries.
