Bokio raises SEK 35 million from investors including the venture capital companies Creandum, Svea Ekonomi and Inbox Capital.

Bokio, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based company providing digital accounting services, announced the completion of a SEK 35 million ($4M) capital raise round.

The money was raised from local venture investors from Sweden, including Creandum, Svea Ekonomi and Inbox Capital.

Bokio, founded in 2014 by CEO Viktor Stensson, has developed a software tool that allows getting automated financial accounting done via a mobile app. The company says it handles business for 60,000 active monthly users and 170,000 registered entrepreneurs.

Bokio previously raised $4.4 million in 2019 and $3.6 million in 2018, and merged with Redflag, funded by a new funding raise of another $8 million.
