Bright Sunday secured SEK 85M in a funding round backed by Creades.

Bright Sunday, a Stockholm, Sweden-based solar energy provider, announced the completion of a capital raised totalling SEK 85M ($8.6M).

The investment was provided by Swedish investors including Creades, Nils-Henrik Investment AB, Martin Randel, and Carl Wilsson. Following the issue, the company is valued at SEK 300M. The money will be used to expand the company's operations in Spain.

Bright Sunday, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Niklas Engström, is aiming to provide a smart and flexible investment and financing solutions for solar energy and other cleantech. By the end of 2019, the company will open its operations in Spain where it established partnerships with players such as Prosolia and Grupoeco for the sale and installation of the company's facilities.
