Brinja announced securing $1 million in capital funding.

Brinja, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based developer of a security solution for the construction industry, announced getting into an agreement for securing SEK 10M ($1M) in capital investment.

The funding was provided by new and existing investors and included a financial contribution of SEK 3M from the Swedish state agency Almi Invest.

Brinja, founded in 2017 and led by CEO Xavier Leon, developed an  IoT cloud system that uses connecting sensors and control systems for construction sites, providing a control overview of the work environment. In addition the project management team can automatise lights and monitor the health of the work environment. The company works with customers from Sweden including Peab, Skanska and NCC.
