Cognibotics secured $4M in series A backed by Tibia and Fairpoint Capital

Cognibotics, a Lund, Sweden-based developer of robotics software, announced the completion of a SEK 40M ($4M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by a range of investors from Sweden, including Tibia and Fairpoint Capital.

Cognibotics, founded in 2013 by six robotic scientists led by CEO Klas Nilsson, develops a technology that improves industrial robots' precision by analyzing the control signals and compensating for the errors that arise, for example, from the impact of machining. The company has about 20 employees and had sales of SEK 8.8M ($900k) in 2018.
