Busfabriken was acquired by Equip Capital
Busfabriken, a Halmstad, Sweden-based operator of a chain of indoor playgrounds, announced entering into an agreement for selling a part of the company to the Norwegian private equity company Equip Capital.
The deal, which has the financial details undisclosed, was made for 55% of the company's shares while the founders will reinvest a large amount, and continue to own 45% in total.
Busfabriken, founded in 2006 by Jimmy Andréasson, Linda Andréasson and Tony Andréasson and led by CEO Bjørn Pedersen, is one of the leading operators of indoor play centres in the Nordics and currently operates 13 centres across Sweden, Norway (Eventyrfabrikken) and Denmark (Eventyrfabriken).
