Byon8, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company providing a medical diagnostic software that tries to improve health care through digital solutions, secured SEK 4M ($460k) in capital investment added to the company.

The backing comes from a range of Swedish angel investors, including Fredrik Olofsson, and will be used to further development of the company.

Byon8, founded in 2015 and led by CEO Josef Murad, developed a software platform for the doctors that uses smart algorithms in order to provide diagnostics and different types of health recommendations. The platform, Aitopya is currently tested at a number of health centers, whereas the users can answer digital forms prior to their medical visit so that the tool helps doctors prescreen their patients before actually seeing them.
