Caia Cosmetics to get Verdane as investors in the company.

Caia Cosmetics, a Stockholm, Sweden-based online DTC beauty products retailer, announced getting into an investment agreement for adding Verdane Capital as investors in the company.

According to the Swedish media, the deal values the company at SEK 400M ($45M) and was made for about half of the equity. The investment was made by Verdane’s SEK 3bn Edda fund.

Caia Cosmetics, founded in 2018 by Bianca Ingrosso, Vanessa Lindblad, Mikael Snabb (CEO) and Jesper Matsch, has built a digital platform via which it sold more than 600,000 beauty products in over 30 countries,via an 140k social media followers. Bianca Ingrosso is known as a social media influencer in Sweden, as it has 1.1 million followers on Instagram, 351 000 followers on YouTube, a reality TV series (‘Wahlgrens värld’) documenting the lives and work of the Wahlgren Ingrosso family.

Prior to the transaction, Bianca Ingrosso owned 29%, Mikael Snabb and Jesper Matsch controlled 58% and Vanessa Lindblad 13%.
