Camunda to get $100 million in a round led by Insight Partners.
Camunda, a Berlin, Germany-based open source software provider, announced that it has completed a €82 million ($97.9 million) funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by global venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners and includedc contributions from existing investor Highland Europe.
Camunda, founded in 2008 by Bernd Ruecker and Jakob Freund, develops software aimed to design, automate, and improve business processes end-to-end in a new way and increase business agility, improve customer experiences and provide a faster time-to-value. The company works with customers including enables global market leaders such as Allianz, ING, Intuit, and Vodafone helping overcome legacy roadblocks of digital transformation and orchestrate processes across different technologies, systems, infrastructures, people, and devices, laying the foundation for a new digital enterprise.
