Careereye raises SEK 10M from existing investors

Careereye, a Stockholm, Sweden-based HR platform operated by Talently announced securing SEK 10M ($1.13M) in fresh funding.

The money comes from existing investors, namely Spiltan (SEK 9M) and its investment manager, Håkan Sjunnesson, through his company Dalex (SEK 1M). The transaction was made at a SEK 53M ($6M) valuation post money and the two own around 35% of the company.

Careereye, founded in 2008 and led by CEO Johan Kadar, is the Swedish version of Glassdoor, by providing a platform for reviews and ratings for employers from employees and former employees. The company, which changed its name in Talently in the fall of 2017, is headquartered in Stockolm and has an office in Berlin, Germany.

In 2015 Careereye recorded SEK 17.6M ($2M) in sales, with a profit before tax of SEK 2.6M.

Prior to this investment, the company raised SEK 5M ($600k).
