Cargo One secured $3.2 million from Point Nine Capital, Lufthansa Cargo and Creandum.
cargo.one, a Berlin, Germany online airfreight booking portal, raised $3.2 million in funding investment.
The money was provided by Lufthansa Cargo, Creandum from Sweden and Point Nine Capital.
The money will be used for the further development of the platform.
Cargo One, founded in 2017 by CEO Oliver Neumann and Moritz Claussen, built a platform that allows users to book on the spot market with real-time pricing.
The platform is in use by Lufthansa Cargo and virtual airline Leisure Cargo on the carrier side, while Dachser and Hellmann Worldwide are confirmed forwarders. On the forwarder side, Claussen said that cargo.one was being used by more than 75 freight forwarders, including Agility, Hermes, Emo Trans, Senator and Jas Forwarding.
