Causaly in a $17 million investment round led by Index Ventures.
Causaly, a London, UK and Athens, Greece-based operator of a software platform for biomedical research, announced completing a $17 million funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Index Ventures, joined by Marathon, Pentech and EBRD.
Carlos Gonzalez-Cadenas will be joining the board representing Index Ventures.
Causaly, founded in 2017 in Greece by Artur Saudabayev and Yiannis Kiachopoulos, developed a platform for biomedical research, designed to help development teams to accelerate research work. The company is developing a machine-reading platform that turns free-flow text into causal knowledge graphs and applies machine learning to surface newknowledge. This helps users to accelerate their research schedules and improve time-to-insight significantly.
Causaly previously raised about $6 million.
