Cleady, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company operating a marketplace for cleaning services, announced that it ceased its operations.

Following the announcement, its local competitor, Happy Helper, has acquired Cleady's activities. Financial details were not disclosed.

Happyhelper, founded in 2015 by Sebastian Sheikh Hjorth, Dennis Forchhammer (CEO) and Jesper Brok-Jørgensen, operates a platform for on-demand home cleaning services. The company is listed on First North Copenhagen.

Cleady, led by CEO Søren Mohr, was providing a similar on-demand cleaning service. The company was backed by investors including Custos, which funded Cleady with $300k at the end of 2018.
