Codecool announced securing €7 million in a funding round led by Integral Venture Partners.
Codecool, a Budapest, Hungary-based company building an educational business for software developers, announced that it raised a capital funding round toalling €7 million ($8.3M).
The money was raised from investors led by Integral Venture Partners and included contributions from Lead Ventures and PortfoLion Capital Partners.
Proceeds will be used to to open a new campus in 2021, as the company is planning to enter two new markets this year, considering Austria, Serbia and Bulgaria and is targeting to operate more than ten Codecool campuses by 2025
Codecool, founded in 2014 bY Balázs Vinnai, Gabor Simon and Jozsef Boda, built and operates an educational business providing training coding and other digital skills services. The program is a 12-month, intensive, practice-oriented programming course offered in 5 campuses spread across Budapest, Miskolc, Krakow, Warsaw and Bucharest in the CEE region.
