CodersTrust, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company operating a financial loan platform for students from emerging countries, announced the completion of a capital investment round.

The money was provided by Danish angel investor Jørgen Balle Olesen (through JBO Invest Holding) and Danish state-owned investment agency VækstFonden.

Coderstrust, founded in 2014, developed an educational platform for people from emerging markets looking to improve digital and soft skills through online freelancing. To date, Coderstrust claims to have educated over 14,000 students and has signed up more than 8,000 new students in their online Academy.

Prior to this round, CodersTrust raised money from Norwegian family-owned investment company Acini Capital, which has a major control of the company's equity.
