CodeSandbox raises $12.7 million Series A backed by EQT Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Arches Capital, and angel investor Guillermo Rauch.
CodeSandbox, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based platform developer that allows easy prototyping and collaboration, announced completing a $12.7 million in series A funding.
The money was raised from investors led by EQT Ventures, and including contributions from Kleiner Perkins, Arches Capital, and angel investors Guillermo Rauch, Andreas Blixt and Daniel Gebler.
CodeSandbox, founded in 2017 by Bas Buursma (CEO) and Ives van Hoorne, built a web-based development platform that allows developers to prototype and collaborate. The platform has about 10 million projects and 2.5 million monthly users.
CodeSandbox previously raised a $2.4 million seed round from Kleiner Perkins, Arches Capital and angel investors.
