Commoditrader added funding from Giant Ventures.
Commoditrader, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based operator of a marketplace for grains and raw materials, announced getting into an investment agreement for raising more capital.
The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, was made for adding the British investment firm Giant Ventures as shareholders in the company.
Commoditrader, founded in 2017 by Ida Boesen and Julie Karl Koch Fahler and led by CEO Simon Haldrup, developed a trading platform for agricultural commodities, designed to ensure transparency, and informed trading to its users – farmers, professional traders and agricultural enterprises.
It previously announced securing a debt and equity round worth of about $5 million in March 2021.
