Conferize raises DKK 16.2M for further developing their SAAS event platform.

Conferize, a Copenhagen, Denmark SAAS event platform announced raising DKK 16.2M ($2.33M) from a number of Danish investors, including Allan Søgaard Larsen and Lars Kolind. With the investment Søgaard Larsen also becomes chairman of the company.

Conferize, co-founded in 2012 by CEO Martin Ferro-Thomsen, provides a SAAS platform for events organizers, as it enables them to seamlessly set up website and ticket sales to build their community. The tool is used by customers from 100 countries, including TEDx, Eventbrite, MPI, Reed Exhibitions or The Guardian.

This investment comes as in 2016 Conferize announced plans of public listing on the Danish Nasdaq First North.
